All of the live performances during the Toledo Music Expo have been booked for months. A list of artists have messaged us with interest and passion to be a part of this Legendary night for the Toledo Music Scene. Finally an opening came and at the Top of the list was the Great Lakes Crew. The Great Lakes Crew were among the first performers contacted to perform during the Expo, but unfortunately they had some other obligations that did not allow them to be booked at the time. It wasn’t until after the entire live portion was closed out, that their plans had changed. We had to regrettably inform them that there were no more slots available for performances. They were understanding and still enthusiastic to even attend the event and Network themselves to all in attendance. Well, low and behold this past week, we had a slot open up and made a call to Ron Rice of Great Lakes Crew to see if they were still interested. “We are Ready” were the words we got. Therefore the Opening Performance for the 2011 Toledo Music Expo will be one of the up most caliber from the Great Lakes Crew!

Once in a generation, a group of artists come along and breathe new life into music. The GREAT LAKES CREW is on the forefront of some of the illest hip-hop music coming out today. Free you ears from audio slavery and join the Great Lakes, the Heartland of Hip Hop.

The GREAT LAKES CREW features the rap stylings of RON JERO, MO PRICE, and THAT DUDE FANI. A void in good music leads to a void in the soul of the people. The GLC has noticed this downward spiral on the scene and decided to do something about it. These dope MCs have decided to use The Force for good, rather than evil, and deliver fresh food to a hip-hop nation that’s hungry for something different. Now, they’re on a mission to give every listener a much needed ear massage.
